Cancellation and Refund Policy for xopay.co
- Once a User initiates an education payment transaction on xopay.co, the transaction cannot be canceled or reversed after it has been processed.
- The User is responsible for entering accurate bank and payee details, including account name, account number, IFSC code, and other required information for the recipient educational institution. Xopay is not responsible for verifying these details and cannot be held liable for any loss or non-refund in case of errors provided by the User.
- Payments made to the bank account of an educational institution or payee via xopay.co are irreversible, and the User acknowledges that the transaction is considered final once processed.
- Users may raise a dispute or query regarding a transaction within 3 (three) hours of initiation. After this period, Xopay will not process any refund or reversal, and late requests will not be entertained.
- If a refund request is made after the transaction is settled, the User must resolve the issue directly with the institution or payee. Any refund processed by the payee should be communicated to Xopay for record purposes.
- No refunds or reversals will be provided for successful transactions that occur due to User error or negligence, including incorrect details or duplicate payments.
- However, in cases where debits occur due to technical failure or system error on the Application, the entire amount including any convenience fee will be refunded to the User without delay, typically within 7 to 10 working days.
- Refunds do not include chargebacks of convenience fees or related taxes unless the refund is due to technical error.
- Suspected fraudulent or suspicious payments may be suspended or withheld by Xopay pending validation, especially if there is a violation of the Terms of Service.
